iPhone fixing experience with Apple

As you see the title it sounds a bit looks like sponsored post something but I can tell you is...this is the most WTF experience ever. Let me tell you the whole story with what's going on with my phone.

First of all, if you are my closer friend you might know my phone screen was cracked (just half of the screen) since my april Disneysea trip with my babe chanwon. Don't laugh because when you having a baby actually your phone might be die with holding by them,kill by babies's saliva or one of the most issue is they like to throw and drop your things maybe. My iPhone is killed by kicker of course by his kung fu's leg and while it dropped I was like ' I think I heard something broke' and when I take it back and it was cracked and luckily front camera was fine.


It was like so hurt...yes..my heart is bleeding cause I just used for 6 months and became like this.
Must be kidding me and I just hope this was a dream.

'JUST WAS A NIGHTMARE'


I was quite EMO during my trip but after that I was totally forgot keep using it for 4 months. I was not going to repair it until I can change another new phone since in Japan is using package to purchase phone so might be cheaper then. Lastly I was changed my mind because I realised the broken pieces is starting to drop...and can't be use longer and I'm ready to send my phone to fix.



So as I send my request to Apple Store and they have such a service here.

・Arrange your appointment and yamato post will come and collect your phone.
・They will place in a super hightec box and protect your phone while delivery.
・You will be alone for 3 days because you have no extra phone for the fixing period.
・Must back up your stuffs and memories,lastly take out the SIM card.
・You can check your status by the link Apple Store sent you. (As below)


・You can simply check your phone status and when they sent out your fixed phone they will inform you the tracking number too! (Best service award)
・So only 2-3days your phone will be done. (depends cases).
・I sent my phone on friday, reach apple centre on saturday, problem fixed on sunday and send out your new phone,monday you will reach your phone. 


Will be store in a little tiny iPhone box and send it back to you! Yes!!!! I'm happy girl now.

Actually I faced some problem after I got back my phone.

  1. Unbox my phone and I really can't wait to use it again since I'm quite heavy user.
  2. When I try to ON the phone,no response. So i plugged on and let it charged! (It took me 10 min to do this)
  3. Finally phone is ON,and after that turn it OFF again for inserting the SIM. 
  4. Plugged with my MAC and it said the phone version is too old and needed to be upgrade.
  5. My backup restore was unsuccessful. (Little bit piss off)
  6. Try to upgrade the phone to iOS 8.4 and it took me some time to finished. 
  7. Restore FAILED again and i fed up and I make it as a new phone and restore again!!
  8. Set up all the apps and icon each and sync with MAC again and luckily it work successful!! 
  9. The phone suddenly shut down and the screen turn to be weird...


Have you seen the Apple logo can be so senget?( means slanting in Malay) 
It makes me feel this is not a brand new phone... (started nervous)

and...

my screen is just weird..on the first day!
 Have you ever see the screen like this?The color just too weird..
Just keep restarting and the display color turn to another color tone.



I keep checking online for all the problem on my phone and some of the forum said it can be fix if reset all the setting again and sync the phone with the PC. I keep re-do and I thought it can be fix...
I feel it is so bad cause I sent my phone to fix and now they return me a broke phone?!!

Of course the most helpful person is the apple centre consultant and I call them again after few hours (phone is half die) The staff just suggest me send iPhone to their centre again and they will help me look up for the problem (if free of charge I will send immediately). YA of course free of charges and the bad thing is you need to wait for few more days again! 

End of------I didn't send it out on the first day and I think it will be okay since there are nothing happen when using on the first day.




Second day---just something happen on my phone again.


I keep restart it and thought it will be okay.


I bet you can see in the picture. The phone display was getting worst compare with first day.
I never see iPhone can be like this and it was like....snowing or ?? (Some scene which is similar with the horror movie) This make me super worry and of course angry!!!

While instagram-ing... lol
Just feeling so annoyed while see this and you can't able to press the button nicely too..
(I don't know what they have gave me)

After 1 hour later the phone is shut down and turned to black blank screen. It cannot be turn on again even you plugged in or battery charging.

OF COURSE I WAS SWEATING and call the apple store again.
(Third time)


The choice that apple centre given was send the phone to them again or bring it to apple store and they will exchange you a new phone, but in case your phone is ON again and the store won't exchange a new phone for you. (How can I know my phone won't be ON again??) and the most important thing is my backup was deleted on the previous day wtf wtf wtf 
(After that my phone is ON again while plugged on so I was success to back up my data to pc)


So I chose to send my phone again to the centre and the consultant is just too kind for me and they promise to process my replacement ASAP. While Japanese promise and they will really do for you thats why Japanese is 100% trustful! Actually I were so angry and keep complaint to him but he is quite polite to me and explain a lot to me even he sent me a mail that if any problem can contact him by follow the instruction.


The guy said he will follow up my case and he just good! 



Then I gonna alone for 3 days again for waiting my brand new phone.Seems I were used to be alone and stay without phone and actually it is quite relax lol
So the staff collect my phone on Saturday night and my phone is return on Tuesday morning!



It was restore successfully with my old back up!! My phone is back again. Need to buy another screen protector for this newbie.
They even send me along the new screen protector as apology's gift and I try to said NO but they just send me after this and it reach this morning! (No need waste money on it lol) 


Conclusion is total I have spent almost a week to get my phone done and really disappointed with apple centre which is send me a broke phone and it wasted my time! Luckily there are someone who willing for follow up and take responsibility to get me back a new phone with apology's gift. I would like to forgive them but it just too troublesome when facing this problem and I keep using macbook to connect my pages and LINE this few days. Its really not convenient when you hang out with no phone there and if earthquake happen I think I will not be able to blog here again (sounds serious haha)

Just a pricy experience but hope you enjoy to read my compliment.
